About the IDD Inside Sales Team
The inside sales team works with Independent Lab owners and their staff implementing marketing ideas and programs which assist them in building their Eye Care customer sales base. They provide technical product information and literature to accounts on new and existing Essilor lens products and meet many other valuable account needs.
Suzanne Allen joined the Essilor IDD team in July of 2010. Her position in Inside Sales covers 24 states, bordering Texas and Oklahoma across the Mid-Eastern portion of the U.S., ending in Maine.
Suzanne began working in the Optical industry in1979 and has been certified by The American Board of Opticianry since 1983. During this time, she worked primarily as a Dispensing Optician for Optometrists and Ophthalmologists specializing in Pediatric to Geriatric patient care; and has experience managing retail optical as well. Previous to her job at Essilor, she was employed as an Ophthalmic Tech performing pre-exam testing and contact lens care, in addition to optical dispensing.
Family is an important aspect in Suzanne’s life; she and her husband of 31 years have three grown children. Their oldest daughter, son-in law and grandson reside in Austin, TX, their son is currently living in Dallas, and her youngest daughter attends college in the Dallas area.
Randy is a Dallas native who is new to the optical industry. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree. While attending SFA Randy worked full time managing a privately owned restaurant. Before his work began at Essilor, Randy worked as a financial services consultant for a top 5 financial institution where he worked in quality controls, as well as handling customer correspondence filed through government and regulatory agencies.
